Crisis related needs are a reality in our community.
We firmly believe it is the responsibility of God ’s people to reach out to those in crisis
to facilitate the transition to independent, self-sufficient living.

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them,
"Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things
which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:15-17

Recognizing and acknowledging the crisis related needs in our community, and acting on the
dictates of Biblical principle, the ministry founders, Dr. Dirk van Dalen, Mrs. Karen van Dalen
and Mrs. Millie Holmes, were inspired to find a way to do something about it and
Community Care-giving Ministry, Inc. was formed.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Community Care-giving Ministry, Inc. (CCM) is to make a permanent and positive difference in the lives of individuals and families in crisis through Christ-like caring and education, with a strong emphasis on basic Biblical values.

CCM has been privileged to assist many families who, finding themselves too long in crisis or between jobs, began to lose hope. We have been privileged to effectively assist single moms and dads in their efforts to be responsible, self-supporting parents.

FIRST and FOREMOST
Every individual coming through CCM is given an opportunity to accept Christ as Savior. We endeavor to create an atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit can freely touch hearts and lives, saving, restoring, healing and renewing those burdened down with the cares of life. It is our plan to continue being God ’s hand extended, to reach those in need, believing we are being God's door of opportunity to change souls for eternity.

HOW IT WORKS
A family unit may consist of more than just the natural family members.

CCM does not give money to any individual. We give the actual items needed.

CCM provides:
• Biblical Education and Counseling
Discipling is the first tool in changing a life in crisis. Each person is presented with the Gospel and, if un-churched, connected with the nearest Bible-believing church in their area. We teach sound life skills through strong Biblical principles. We firmly believe this is the only way to build lasting confidence and skills that can provide the tools needed for successful living.

• Food, Clothing, Shelter (includes household goods)
We are able to meet these needs through donations of cash and/or material goods from individuals, churches and businesses.
Cash donations are used by CCM personnel to buy products or pay for possible “Other Needs” (see list below) that are not available from donated goods.

• Volunteers and Supporters
We can never have too many volunteers and supporters. If you are interested in helping families in crisis, we will get you involved. Call us to make an appointment to explore what, when and how you can be a part of this ministry.

• Ways to get involved
• Be available to assist in moving or picking up goods
• Organize Food Drives
• Refer families in crisis
• Become a monthly supporter
• Donate a house
• Donate a vehicle
• Donate items you no longer need (all donations are tax deductible)

• CCM Financial Support – We are a 501(c)3 Organization
Donations you wish to make to help in these areas are tax deductible.

We welcome financial support from individuals, churches and businesses. Your money will be invested wisely in the lives of those people God brings our way, helping restore them to a life worth living. Call us to discuss a monthly, annual or one-time support gift.
